Reappoint Mark Pope to Bark Point Boat Launch Standing Committee.

Reappoint Dale Paulson to Bark Point Boat Launch Standing Committee.

Appoint member of the Town Board to Bark Point Boat Launch Standing Committee.

Motion to renew Lenawee Road project loan with Security State Bank for a five-year term on a principal amount of $180,956.63 at a loan rate of 3.68% beginning on May 11, 2022 and maturing on May 11, 2027.

Set time and date for Town roads inspection.

Resolution #20220511-2, Succession of Town Authority in the absence of the Chairperson.

 

Approve the purchase and use of facsimile signature stamps for the clerk and treasurer to be used in lieu of personal signatures during times of their absence.

* Towns may adopt an alternative claims procedure ordinance under Wis. Stat. § 60.44(2) that provides an expedited process for paying all or select types of bills. This ordinance delegates primary approval authority to the clerk and allows signed checks to be distributed by the treasurer before being approved by the town board. Clerks then present a monthly list of paid claims to the town board for approval after the fact.

Town of Clover

Resolution #20220511-2, Succession of Town Authority in the absence of the Chairperson

 

Whereas it is not reasonable for one (1) person to be available 24/7, and

 

Whereas the chairperson holds special authority, and

 

Whereas occasions might arise requiring the special authority of the Chairperson including, but not limited to, signing checks, and

 

Whereas emergencies requiring the authority of the Chairperson may arise at any moment, and

 

Whereas decisions related to these emergencies might require boots on the ground for assessment, and

 

Whereas a person is needed at all times to coordinate such emergencies both intergovernmental and intra-governmental (especially with Bayfield County, Emergency Government), and

 

Whereas such emergencies might extend to Sanitary District #1

 

Therefore, be it resolved that Patti Stemwedel, Supervisor, be that person with the special Powers of the Chairperson, in the absence of Dale Fuller, Chairperson, through April 17, 2023, and

 

Therefore, be it further resolved that Patti Stemwedel, Commissioner, be that person with the special Powers of the President over Sanitary District #1 in the absence of Dale Fuller, President, through April 17, 2023.
