Town of Clover – Meeting Notice
Special Board Meeting
June 27, 2023, immediately following the Special Commission Meeting, likely around 9:30 am. Will
convene in the Town of Clover Town Hall (Herbster Gym) Parking Lot and proceed on the outlined
Route via carpooling. Will stop along route as desired.

– Proceed north on Lenawee Road to State Highway 13
– Proceed east on State Highway 13 to Clover/Cemetery Road
– Proceed south on Clover/Cemetery Road to Shortcut Road
o notice deep ruts south to bottom of hill
– Take Shortcut Road to Bark River Road
– Proceed west on Bark River Road to Campbell Road
o Bark River Road from Shortcut Road to Cemetery Road will receive LRIP + Town Match gravel with grading and shaping this year

– Proceed South on Campbell Road to Webbers Road (Webbers Road is a Town Road)
o Campbell Road will receive $4,000 gravel from County Forest Grant this year
o Campbell Road has received spot gravelling this year
– Turn around and proceed north on Campbell Road to Bark River Road
– Proceed west on Bark River Road to Lenawee Road
o Bark River Road from Wilkie property west to Lenawee Road will receive gravel, grading,
shaping, compacting and likely ditching this year from gravel budget
o last year Bark River Road received spot graveling & also this year so far
– Proceed south on Lenawee Road to Seven Mile Road
o Lenawee Road received LRIP & Town Match gravel from ~Gravel Pit Road to Seven Mile Road
with grading and shaping in 2022
o Lenawee Road has received spot gravelling from the black top to Seven Mile Road this year
– Turn around at Seven Mile Road and return on Lenawee Road to 90 o angle
– Proceed west on Lenawee Road to Cranberry River Road
– Proceed west on Cranberry River Road to Touve Road
o Cranberry River Road will receive gravel from Lenawee Road to the Driessen Home Place this
year

– Proceed east on Touve Road to Lenawee Road
– Proceed north on Lenawee Road to Half Mile Road
– Proceed east on Half Mile Road to end and return to Lenawee Road
o Half Mile Road was rehabbed in 2022
– Proceed north on Lenawee Road to State Highway 13
– Proceed east on State Highway 13 to Hesse Road
– Proceed north on Hesse Road to Bark Point Road
o Last year Hesse Road received spot graveling
– Proceed east on Bark Point Road to Bark Point Road (Private Road)
o From Boat Landing to Private Road, Graveled this year

– Return west on Bark Point Road
o From Boman west driveway to Hesse Road is the portion of the pavement that will be rehabbed
including pulverizing, compacting, placing strong base, replacing all culverts, shaping, ditching,
repaving with hot pack blacktop, and shouldering

– Return to gym continuing west on Bark Point Road to State Highway 13
o This portion of Bark Point Road from Hesse Road was paved with cold pack in the mid-1970s,
with no overlay
 principally a good road with some potholes (repaired with cold pack this year)
o Bark Point Road from the Box Culvert just east of Lake Avenue west to 90 o curve was rebuilt in
2017 including culvert replacement, riprap placement in easement with cold pack paving
secondary to sever north eastern storm braking up road

– Proceed across St Hwy 13 and continue on Lenawee Road to the gym parking lot
