Approval of Minutes:  November 6, 2024 (TPC did not meet December through May).

Announcements:

 

1)  TPC member James Stemwedel’s (member since 2019) reappointed for a three year term expiring April 2028.

2) Town Board representative on the TPC.

3) Kristle Majchrzak (April 6, 2021 TPC meeting).  Bayfield County denied a Conditional Use Permit for Irrigation Facilities, Canals, Dams, Reservoirs, etc., in R-RB zoning.  Ms. Majchrzak appealed administratively and in the courts, and on January 16,  2025, the Wisconsin Supreme Court in a 5-2 decision declined to review her appeal.

 

New Business:

 

Class A Special Use Permit for RV placement for more than four months by Richard J. Miller at 88745 Bark Point Rd, in R-RB zoning.

 

Future Business:  The Town was notified on January 18, 2024 by Randy M. Lund, Lund Engineering, agent for the Beach Resort, of the intent to apply for a Conditional Use Permit for a 15 site campground/RV park on the R-RB zoned Beach Resort Property.  The application is on hold until issues of parcel boundaries are resolved.  A civil case addressing parcel boundaries is pending in the Bayfield County Circuit Court and is next on the Court calendar for August 4, 2025.
