Town of Clover Plan Commission

July 5, 2022, 7 pm

Call to Order:  7 pm

Roll Call:  James Stemwedel, Chris Lehnert (vice chair), Pete Berton, Beverly Steele, Keith Koenning (chair)

Announcements:

TPC Chair appointed to the Bayfield County Comprehensive Plan Committee. Bayfield County has formed a 15-member Comprehensive Plan Committee to update and revise the 2010 Bayfield County Comprehensive Plan.  There are two Town representatives, one from Clover and one from Iron River.  The first monthly meeting is July 20.  The contractor for the Bayfield Plan is the Northwest Regional Planning Commission.

1. Final notification received June 24 of Coastal Management grant. The grant award of $8,936 is for planning services from the Northwest Regional Planning Commission.

 

New Business:

2023-2043 Comprehensive Plan project, July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.  We agreed to have a special TPC meeting on Saturday morning July 23 at 10 at the Gym.  At this meeting information about the plan project will be provided, and there will be an opportunity for anyone interested to volunteer either in a leadership position or on a subject area work team.

We reviewed and approved with minor modifications the following:  A “Volunteers Needed” poster announcing the July 23 meeting; the Agenda for July 23; a one-page six question “Introduction to the 2023-2043 Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map Project”; a volunteer sign up form; a “Plan Committee Handbook”;  a “Project Description” and “Project Timeline” excerpted from the Coastal Management Program grant application.

Documents will be posted on the Town’s website, herbsterwisconsin. com under the 2023-2043 Comprehensive Plan tab.

Future Business:   One Class A permit application pending for the August meeting.
