Regular Board Meeting
November 13, 2024
Minutes
Call to order: 7:00 pm
Roll Call: Present: Steele, Madison, Smith, Gillespey, Pope, Morelli, and Mintzlaff. Absent Felt. Also present, Lois Palmer, Mark Filonowich, Mike Herrick, Pete Berton.
Pledge of Allegiance:
NOTE: The Regular Town of Clover Meeting will be adjourned at or about 8:00 pm. The Chair may reorder the agenda to accommodate the time limit.
Calendar:
- Transfer Station now in winter hours—Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- Cemetery is winter ready.

- Class A Special Use Permit for RV placement for more than four months at 15005 Hultman St. in R-RB zoning by Jnana Hand and Jordan Ash—Steele (Please see TPC Minutes of November 6 in Packets)
Motion by: Pope/Madison to approve the Class A Special Use Permit for RV placement with the recommendations that were given from the Town of Clover Plan Commission.
Carried unanimously.

- Discussion/Likely Action related to: Opening and Closing Dates for the Campground Season
Motion by: Madison/sPope to open the Town of Clover campground on Thursday May 8, 2025, contingent on weather and water availability.
Carried unanimously.
Motion by: Pope/sMadison to close the Town of Clover campground on Tuesday October 14, 2025.
Carried unanimously.
- Public Works: Public Comment regarding any of the items in this section
- Discussion/Likely Action related to: Initiating the Process for Hiring a Highway and General Maintenance Operator—Steele
Motion by: Madison/sSmith to initiate the process of hiring a Highway and General Maintenance Operator for the Town of Clover with the closing of the application process in 3 weeks from the posting date. Postings would be available on Town of Clover website, The Connection, State Website, Bottom Line, and South Shore Community Posting on Facebook.
