Regular Board Meeting

January 8, 2025

Minutes

Call to order: 7:00 pm

Roll Call: Present:  Steele, Smith, Gillespey, Pope, Madison, Felt, Mintzlaff. Absent Morelli. Also present, Lois Palmer, Bill Bailey, Dana Churness and Mark Filonowich.

Pledge of Allegiance:

NOTE: The Regular Town of Clover Meeting will be adjourned at or about 8:00 pm.  The Chair may reorder the agenda to accommodate the time limit.

Motion by: Pope/sFelt to adjust the agenda.  Carried unanimous.  

Calendar:

  • Caucus, Saturday, January 11, 2025 @ 10:45am in the Town Hall/Historic Gymnasium
  • Transfer Station now in winter hours–Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm

Motion by: Pope/sSteele to approve job description of campground host with the removal of the second bullet point under Salary/Schedules.

Motion by: Pope/sMadison to offer the Campground Manager position to lone candidate pending interview and the approval of background check.

Carried unanimous.

  • Motion to adjourn to Closed Session for Highway and General maintenance worker Personnel

Motion by: Pope/sFelt to adjourn into closed session.

Roll call: Steele, Smith, Madison, Felt, Pope, Gillespey and Mintzlaff.

  • Motion to reconvene to Open Session for Personnel Decisions

Motion by: Pope/sSteele to move into open session.

Roll call: Steele, Smith, Madison, Felt, Pope, Gillespey and Mintzlaff.

Motion by: Steele/sFelt to offer Highway and General maintenance position to Justin Viken with putting Sawyer Schierman on an eligibility list.

Roll Vote: Four yes 1 abstained
