Resolution #20200708-1, Authority, Responsibility and Duties of the Sexton

 

Whereas, the presence of a cemetery presents unique challenges, and

Whereas, Ordinance # 20130911-1 mandates in Section XVII, A. a resolution designating the authority, responsibility and duties to the Sexton, and

Whereas, there is a need for records, maps, management of lots and plots, internment, and other duties assigned by the Board, and

Whereas, a designated person is needed to exercise these needs,

Now Therefore Be It Resolved that the maintenance of records, maps, management of lots and Plots, interments and other duties assigned by the Board resides with the Sexton.
