TOWN OF CLOVER

ORDINANCE No. 1
ORDINANCE NOVEMBER 13th 1906

The following ordinance was presented and was upon motion adopted:

The Board of Supervisors of Bayfield County do ordain as follows:

Section 1: Township 50 and 51 North, Range 7 West, in said County, are hereby set off from the Town of Port Wing and organized into a new Town to be known as the Town of Clover.

Section 2: The property within the respective limits of the Town of Port Wing and the Town of Clover shall belong to the respective Towns.

Section 3: The first meeting in said Town of Clover shall be held in the schoolhouse at Herbster in said Town, at which meeting a full set of officers shall be elected, the Opening and closing of polls and all business of said meeting to be governed by the general laws applicable to Town meetings.

Section 4: The County Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed to procure a plat of said Town of Clover, pursuant to section 673 of the Wisconsin statutes of 1898.

Section 5: This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and Publication.
