Ordinance #20201111-2, Amendment to Ordinance #20170510-1, Road, Driveway and Right-of-Way Ordinance (Replaced Ordinance 090909)

 

Whereas, Section 4. A. 1. General Design. presents difficulty in interpreting distances from the intersection allowable for driveways,

Now be it ordained, to amend Section 4. A. 1. Of Ordinance #20170510-1 to read:

General Design.  No Driveway shall provide direct ingress or egress to or from any road intersection, nor encroach upon or occupy areas of the street right-of-way for effective traffic control or movements.  A driveway shall be located so as to provide a minimum of 150 feet of sight distance.  Driveways shall, whenever possible, be located and constructed so as not to interfere with utilities in place.
