Ordinance #20140813, An Ordinance to Adopt Amendment #1 of the Town of Clover Comprehensive Plan in Bayfield County, Wisconsin

 

The Town Board of the Town of Clover ordains as follows:

Section 1. Town of Clover Ordinance #9/15/03-1 enacted September 17, 2003, adopted the “Comprehensive Plan of the Town of Clover.”

Section 2.  Town of Clover Ordinance #101210-1, enacted October 12, 2010, provided for a “Town Plan Commission Ordinance & Notes.”

Section 3. Wisconsin s. 66.1001 (2) (i) requires that an adopted Comprehensive Plan be updated no less than once every 10 years, and for the Town of Clover the 10-year date is September 16, 2013.

Section 4.  The Town of Clover Plan Commission on June 4, 2013, approved Amendment #1 of the Town of Clover Comprehensive Plan and submitted the Amendment to the Town Board.

Section 5.  The Town Board of Clover on July 31, 2013, held a public hearing on Amendment #1, and on August 14, 2013, the Town Board unanimously adopted Amendment #1.

Section 6.  An Ordinance, as required by Wisconsin s. 66.1001 (4)(c) adopting Amendment #1 was not prepared in a timely way. This Ordinance corrects this oversight.

Section 7.  This Ordinance and Amendment #1 shall be sent to those entities specified in Wisconsin s. 66.1001 (4) (b).

Section 8.  The effective date of this Ordinance shall be the day after the date of publication or posting as provided by Wisconsin s. 60.80.
