Ordinance #20160113-1, Temporary Class “B” Beer and/or Wine License for a Particular Gathering or Picnic
Whereas the Town Board of the Town of Clover, Bayfield County has specific authority under §125.26(4) and (6) and §125.04(3)(f).and §125.26(1). and §125.51(1)(a). regarding applications and qualifications for licenses. Wis. Stats., to adopt this ordinance, and
Whereas a Temporary Class “B” license for sale of fermented malt beverages may be issued for the following types of groups: bona fide clubs, to county or local fair associations or agricultural societies, to churches, lodges or societies that have been in existence for at least 6 months before the date of application and to posts of veterans organizations authorizing the sale of fermented malt beverages at a particular picnic or similar gathering, or at a meeting of the post, and
Whereas issuance of such Class “B” temporary license authorizes the licensee to permit underage persons to be on the premises for which the license is issued, and
Whereas a Class “B” temporary license may be granted after a waiting period of any length, to be determined by the Town Board, for events lasting less than 4, and
Whereas a Class “B” temporary license may be granted after a waiting period of any length, to be determined by the Town Board, but not less than 15 days, for events lasting for 4 days or more, and
Whereas a permit fee not to exceed $10.00 may be charged, and
Whereas an official of the Town approved by the Board may issue such temporary permits,
Now, therefore, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the Town Board of Clover, of Bayfield County, that pursuant to §125.26(4) and (6) Temporary Class “B” licenses for Beer and/or wine for a particular gathering or picnic may be issued, and
Further, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that the Town Clerk be given the authority to issue Temporary Class “B” licenses for fermented malt beverages for a particular gathering or picnic, and
Further, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that there be a waiting period from permit application to permitting for events lasting less than 4 day of 3 days, and
Further, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that there be a waiting period from permit application to permitting for events lasting 4 days or more of 15 days, and
Further, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that a fee of $10.00 accompany said application for a Temporary Class “B” licenses for fermented malt beverages for a particular gathering or picnic.
