Free COVID Vaccination Clinics, December 29, 2021 & January 19, 2022

Bayfield County is holding a vaccination clinic for children and adults at the end of December in Iron River. We hope that this providers an opportunity for those who need a booster shot or are immunocompromised to get an additional COVID vaccine dose for added protection against the SARS-CoV-2 virus that cases COVID-19 illness. This is also a great opportunity for kids ages 5 – 18 to get vaccinated as well. We will be there both the 29th of December and again in January on the 19th for second doses (if indicated). Vaccines that will be available include: Moderna, Pfizer (12 and older) and Pfizer Peds (5 – 11 y.o.).

Please promote widely within your groups and communities. Appointments recommended but not required.

Appointments preferred but Walk-ins will be accepted
5-11 year olds are now eligible for COVID-19 vaccination. This effects children in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. This clinic is also open for adults 18 and older to get a
booster shot (6 months after last COVID dose) or for those who are immunocompromised to get an additional dose of vaccine (at least 28 days after the 2nd dose). It’s also open for
those who have never been vaccinated against COVID-19 (ages 5 and older).

*A parent or guardian must be present for anyone under the age of 18 to receive a vaccination.
